Cuyahoga Valley National Park lies along the Cuyahoga river between Cleveland and Akron in Ohio.  This national park is unique as it serves a nearby metropolitan area.

Many visitors to this park spend their time hiking or bicycling the Park’s many trails including part of the Ohio & Erie Canal tow path.

The park offers waterfalls, rolling hills and winding river scenery.

There is a very nice visitor center with exhibits and offers a movie about the area.

Entrance Fee:  Free

Hours:  Open 24 hours daily

While the Cuyahoga Valley was very pretty, I must admit that we did not take advantage of the trails as temps were quite warm.  Maybe next time.
